AMANDA ENGLISH

Amanda has been working in the fitness industry for over 30 years. She has a sports science degree, and also qualifications and teaching experience in many different disciplines including pilates, Les Mills, weight training and more recently Reformer Pilates. Amanda decided to train as reformer pilates teacher after her own experience of how it supported her rehabilitation after a knee injury.

She is also a Level 3 Personal Trainer and has found reformer pilates to be an amazing bridge for strength training if clients aren't keen on going to the gym to lift weights. Amanda has a passion for helping people achieve goals, encouraging clients to push themselves within their limits, to achieve movements they may not have thought possible. She likes to apply the fundamentals of strength training in her Reformer classes, building on moves over a few weeks, progressively challenging and changing bodies. Hoping to help clients improve their strength, flexibility, and mobility in a way that is both effective and tailored to their needs.

Amanda tries to develop an encouraging environment for clients of all levels, whether they're enhancing core stability, recovering from injuries, or striving for better overall fitness and wellness.
