25th October - 6th December, Tuesday’s at 18:30 - 20:30 (with a 75 minute meditation session 19:00 - 20:15)

Alongside your weekly meditation session, you’re invited to come and enjoy our serene Pantry, taking some real time out for You. Indulge in our selection of herbal teas, delicious Blendsmiths hot drinks and nourishing homemade treats in the surroundings of pure comfort and tranquility. The space will be yours to relax and unwind into around your course sessions. (Of course not forgetting our wonderful animals who may well be the secret to inner happiness!)

 Overview

During this course you will go on an exploration through the seven energy centres (Chakras), for creating inner balance and calm.

When our energy is blocked it can affect our wellbeing, often without awareness. Using varying mediation techniques, you will learn how to connect with each centre; engage more consciously with the body; quiet the chatter of the mind; break stress cycles; clear stuck energy; create inner awareness and grounding.

Meditation has been used for thousands of years to help calm the mind, steady the nerves and nurture us in a holistic way. This course will support you to connect and improve your ability to be immersed in meditation. As you progress through the course you will gain an awareness of Self (Atman) which will help you to better understand how to maintain a sense of peace and tranquillity for yourself in a busy world.

There are many studies which have shown that meditation can impact positively on the individual, leading to feeling less stress, less anxiety,  improved sleep patterns and more optimistic attitudes and outlooks. Through the use of affirmations you will learn how positive mantras can help your brain to reprogram itself and develop new neural pathways that will help maintain positivity and optimism.

Who is this course for?

This is for both beginner meditators who are just arriving to meditation; as well as those who have a regular practice but want to find out more to deepen their understanding.

Alis will be with you every step of the way as you learn, share and sit together in union.

About Alis…

Alis’s passion for meditation came early having been introduced to the practice as a child, following her Father onto the mat and finding the union, peace and tranquillity that meditating together can give. Through a regular practice of meditation, she’s developed a more mindful approach to living, noticing when she’s out of alignment in her actions, making changes to return back to balance. Alis has worked within the wellness industry for 25+ years as a Fitness Instructor, Life Coach, and Yoga & Meditation Teacher. She’s also a qualified Pilates Instructor and has worked in education for many years. She has supported many children and adults to develop effective mindfulness tools to support them throughout their daily lives.
