Booking Terms and Considerations

By agreeing to the RE-WILDING YOU Terms and Considerations you agree to be bound by the following Cucumber Fields Ltd terms.

Payments

  • All payments must be made to Cucumber Fields in GBP (£)

  • A £420 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. See Cancellation by participant terms below for further information.

  • The remaining payment can then be made by bank transfer using the following account details - Cucumber Fields Ltd, Barclays Bank - Account number: 83910938 | Sort code: 20-05-73

  • Balance must be made by 31st January 2023. Bookings made after this date must be paid in full.

Cancellation by Cucumber Fields

  • In the case that Cucumber Fields is required to cancel the retreat you will receive an offer of a partial refund or credit to use on a future retreat.

  • In the unlikely event the venue will have to cancel the retreat and Cucumber Fields is not able to move the retreat to a new venue, you will receive a full refund.

  • Any pre-booked travel or travel insurance will not be reimbursed, which is considered to be booked by you, the participant, at your own liability.

Cancellation by participant

Should you no longer be able to attend due to injury or illness we will require a Doctors note and cancellation request in writing. In the case a participant needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances Cucumber Fields will do their best to support the participant but cannot guarantee anything and each scenario will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Based on Cucumber Fields financial commitment with 42 Acres the below cancellation periods need to be taken into consideration when booking:

  • 12 weeks or more prior to retreat start date - payments can be refunded minus the deposit.

  • 12 weeks or less prior to the retreat start date - payments are not refundable. Cancellations after this time can be considered for a credit note for an upcoming Cucumber Fields retreat. Vouchers are valid until the end of 2024.

Cancellation of attendance by participant – COVID related only

You may request a refund in the event of government-mandated restrictions on travel, or a positive COVID test which results in an inability to attend the retreat. Please understand that a government travel restriction is different from personal choice to not travel, and includes the following situations.

  • Positive COVID test (Doctor’s note required).

  • Travel restriction from your country of flight origin at the time of the retreat.

Proof (in English) of government-mandated restrictions and/or positive test results must be submitted with an emailed cancellation request.

  • Cancellation 12 weeks or more prior to retreat start date - payments can be refunded minus the deposit.

  • Cancellation less than 12 weeks prior to retreat start date - payments are not refundable. Cancellations after this time can be considered for a credit note for an upcoming Cucumber Fields retreat. Vouchers are valid until the end of 2024.

A cancellation will only be effective when Cucumber Fields has received a written confirmation via email to Gail of the cancellation and a response of acknowledgement has been received.

Travel

  • It is the responsibility of each participant to book and arrange their own flights/trains/car travel.

  • Cucumber Fields will not be liable for any transport bookings or logistics.

Confidentiality 

All personal information will be kept confidential. The only information that may be shared with one third party individual is to aid a specific area of the retreat program where your date of birth, place of birth and time of birth will be shared however, these details will be kept confidential between us and the individual and will be for the benefit for your experience during the program.

Holistic Treatments

Participants are welcome to book holistic treatments with the allocated therapist(s) during your time at 42 Acres. The fee is to be covered by the participant, Cucumber Fields is not responsible of liable for any bookings or fees.

Use of mobile phones and laptops

To protect the integrity of the retreat we ask that you respect your fellow participants by keeping your phones on silent and any laptop use to your rooms. We would love the communal spaces to remain an offering of relaxation, reflection, connection – a real opportunity to switch off from the day to day.

Photography

We will have a photographer joining us during the retreat to capture some of the beautiful moments during activities shared. These will be used for the purposes of internal promotion at Cucumber Fields only – website and social media channels. If you do not want to be included in any of the footage please let Gail know.

Allergies and injuries

It is the responsibility of the participant to inform Cucumber Fields retreat organisers of any allergies and injuries that should be noted in order for you to safely attend the RE-WILDING YOU retreat.

Cucumber Fields and 42 Acres will not be liable for any ill-health if the participant has not shared in writing that which needs to be considered for their safety in consumption, and also physical practise.

Illegal Substances

Illegal drugs/substances/items are prohibited on the premises. If we believe you are under the influence of any illegal substance we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises.

Smoking, e-cigarettes and vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Outside and inside surroundings – risk awareness 

42 Acres is a vast and wild space. Whilst walking around the grounds as part of the group or individually please take responsibility for yourself, taking precautions when travelling and keep a close eye out for wild animals, uneven surfaces or any dangerous shrubs/areas.

The foraging tour will be guided by a professional and all participants should follow their advice when picking and dealing with the foraged goods. Do not consume anything unless suggested otherwise.

Cucumber Fields Ltd take no responsibility whatsoever, for any accidents or injuries incurred whilst in attendance of RE-WILDING YOU, 42 Acres.

The use of the onsite equipment and facilities is entirely at your own risk and Cucumber Fields Ltd will not take any responsibility for any accidents or injuries incurred. You must not use any equipment, or undertake any activity at 42 Acres, unless you are satisfied that you are competent to do so in a safe and proper manner. When using the equipment and facilities at 42 Acres, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety and that of other people. You will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons, or to the equipment of facilities through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities. This includes the use of them under the influence of alcohol or medication, or your failure to advise staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities. 

Liability of Cucumber Fields Ltd

All items brought into 42 Acres during the Cucumber Fields residential retreat, 11-14 May, are brought and left entirely at the risk of any visitor or member. CF, its staff and agents shall not be liable to any member or guest for any loss, damage or injury suffered by them or their property how so ever caused. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights a member or guest may have under local law that we cannot legally restrict or exclude.

It is the responsibility of each participant to take care of all personal belongings, including vehicles. Cucumber Fields will not be liable for any lost or damaged goods when onsite at 42 Acres.

We suggest leaving all valuables at home.
