Welcoming back special guest expert, Jambo Truong.
Rotational pattens have so much to say for well we move. Optimum rotational patterns benefit the shoulders, hips and lower back. Not only do they help to relieve pain, but they also establish foundations for additional strength or flexibility training.
In this one-day workshop discover the anatomy breakdown of twists and learn how to use yoga poses and bodywork to balance patterns, and improve our experience in activities.
Jambo will open with intention setting using meditation, breathwork and ceremonial music. He will then lead us through a yoga sequence with classical postures and a strong emphasis on biomechanics of spinal rotation, helping us to unravel and understand various movement patterns in our individual bodies. The day will wrap up with tension-releasing and nourishing bodywork to help integrate the many benefits of the twists into our regular practise and daily wellbeing.
Jambo has a unique way of holding space for people that merges from deeply healing and sacred, to playful and humorous. His wealth of knowledge across biomechanics, acupuncture, applied kinesiology, myofascial bodywork, meditation and shamanic psychotherapy is profound, and he has a teaching style that feels accessible to all; regardless of experience or ability.
With a homemade nutritious lunch from Chef Joanna, provided in our blissful Pantry setting, we have no doubt you will leave feeling fully inspired and nourished in body, mind and spirit.
